Ethel’s Fancy is a Michelin Recommended modernCalifornia restaurant in downtown Palo Alto, known for its very seasonally driven menu. We are ambitious in building a unique dining experience and bringing to our guests a fine dining experience in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. We love providing great hospitality through food and drink and are looking for someone who shares that passion. The right candidate will be responsible for their own station within the kitchen, but also be able to see everything that goes on in our small kitchen, working alongside the chef who is very hands on in the daily operations. We believe deeply in teaching and mentoring and giving our staff the techniques and tools to have a successful future in the hospitality industry. Some qualifications we are looking for:Someone who can work full time, Tuesdays-Saturday(1pm-closing). Hassome English speaking ability. Takes direction well and can quickly repeat a task with speed and efficiency Has a positive attitude and brings a respectful and kind demeanor to work. We like to work with happy people. Enjoys a challenge and wants to be better everyday. Can lift at least 40lbsWe also offer health coverage to all full time employees, provide custom aprons, and wholesome and delicious staff meals everyday.
